Who needs a macro? Just use bigger bugs. He was the first Florida Grasshopper I've seen and I was shocked, they are big suckers!
I know, not the most sharp picture, what I get hand holding instead of using my tripod which I had with me, I was too lazy!

The picture is awesome! I have seen those suckers up close and personal and have to say they kinda shocked me the first time one landed on me biking. The ones in Maine are no where near that size! About time you put some more work up :P

Why trying to make picture look like Macro and not use Macro itself than :)

This picture is defenitely sharp and the Depth of Field is great chosen. Macro Is Great man. Love the art over tecnique.
